Refund and Return Policy for AusParts International

Thank you for shopping at AusParts International. We are committed to ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases. This Refund and Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which products purchased from AusParts International may be returned or refunded. By purchasing from AusParts International, you agree to abide by the terms stated in this policy.
1. General Return Policy
1.1 Eligibility for Returns
Returns are only accepted for unused, unopened, and resellable items, with all original parts and packaging included. All returns must be approved by AusParts International prior to shipment back. Return approval must be requested within 30 days from the date of receipt of goods.
1.2 Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for return shipping fees unless the item was sent incorrectly or is defective. All return shipments must have tracking to ensure that the item is returned safely. Any loss or damage to the item during return shipping must be reported by the customer to the carrier.
1.3 Return Packaging and Re-packaging Fees
If the packaging of a returned item is damaged or incomplete, a $20 AUD re-packaging fee will be charged. If a wheel return is missing original packaging or has damaged packaging, a $150 AUD re-packaging fee per wheel will apply.
2. Used Parts Return and Warranty Policy
2.1 No Returns, Refunds, or Warranties on Used Items
AusParts International does not offer returns, refunds, or warranties on any used or second-hand items, including but not limited to used engines, transmissions, or other mechanical or electrical components.
All used items are non-returnable and non-refundable and are sold in “as-is” condition, meaning the item is sold exactly as it was received by AusParts International. The buyer accepts all responsibility for verifying condition, compatibility, and suitability prior to purchase.
2.2 Incorrect or Misdescribed Items
Exceptions may apply if:

The customer receives an incorrect item.

The item received differs significantly from its described condition or specifications.
2.3 Damaged or Faulty Used Parts
In the event of damage during shipping, AusParts International will open a shipping insurance claim to investigate the damage. Reimbursement or replacement of used parts will only be issued if the shipping carrier is deemed responsible for the damage.
3. Wheel Return and Refund Policy
3.1 Fitment Responsibility
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the fitment of the wheels before purchasing. We recommend using websites like www.WillTheyFit.com to check the fitment. AusParts International will not accept returns or issue refunds for wheels that do not fit due to buyer error.
3.2 Condition for Returns
Wheels must be returned in original, unused, and resellable condition. No returns will be accepted for wheels that have:

Tires already fitted.

Damaged boxes or packaging.

Signs of being used or installed.

Damaged parts (with exceptions for damage occurring during shipping).
3.3 Return Shipping and Fees
Return shipping for wheels is the responsibility of the customer. The customer is required to provide tracking and insurance for the return shipment. If the packaging is damaged or missing during the return, a $150 AUD re-packaging fee per wheel will be charged.
3.4 Manufacturer Faults
If the wheels are found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault, AusParts International will offer a refund or replacement as part of the manufacturer’s warranty.
3.5 Return Process for Wheels
Refunds or replacements will only be issued once the wheels and all associated items (e.g., wheel nuts, center caps) have been returned in full.
4. Airbag/Horn-Pad Return Policy
4.1 No Returns on Airbags and Horn Pads
AusParts International does not recommend the use of used airbags or horn pads due to safety and liability concerns. We cannot guarantee the functionality or effectiveness of these parts in the event of an accident. Therefore, no returns, refunds, or warranties will be offered on used airbags or horn pads.
4.2 Buyer Acknowledgement
By purchasing a used airbag or horn pad, the customer acknowledges that they are purchasing the item at their own risk and agree to these terms. AusParts International advises that airbags and horn pads be installed only by trained and qualified professionals.
5. Damaged Shipments
5.1 Reporting Damaged Goods
If an item is damaged during shipping, the customer must notify AusParts International within 24 hours of receiving the product. All damage reports must be submitted to our customer service team via email at Sales@AusPartsInternational.com or through our online contact form.
5.2 Claims Process
Upon receipt of a damage claim, AusParts International will initiate a shipping insurance claim with the carrier and conduct an investigation. To assist in the claims process, the customer must provide:

A detailed description of the damage.

Multiple clear images of the damaged product, packaging, and labels.

Any available video footage of the delivery process (if applicable).
5.3 Reimbursement or Replacement
If the carrier is found to be at fault for the damage, AusParts International will either replace the damaged item or issue a refund, based on the customer’s preference. The reimbursement or replacement will only occur once the carrier’s investigation has concluded and the carrier assumes responsibility for the damage.
6. Lost Shipments
6.1 Shipment Lost by Carrier
If a shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, AusParts International will initiate an investigation. Depending on the outcome of the carrier’s investigation, AusParts International may offer either a replacement or a refund.
7. International Orders
7.1 Refund Limitations on International Orders
AusParts International does not offer refunds on international orders once the item has been shipped, except in cases of carrier negligence — including loss or damage during transit.
Refunds will also be offered if:

The incorrect item was sent by AusParts International.

The item arrives damaged due to shipping carrier fault (subject to investigation).
Refunds will not be issued if:

The customer changes their mind after the item has shipped.

The customer refuses delivery or fails to pay import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees.

The customer disputes costs associated with international customs or brokerage charges.
7.2 Two-Day Cooling-Off Period Before Shipping
To ensure customer satisfaction, all international orders are subject to a minimum two (2) business day cooling-off period before shipment.
During this time, customers may cancel their order or request a refund if they change their mind. Once the cooling-off period has ended and the order has been shipped, refunds or cancellations will no longer be available except under the circumstances described in Section 7.1.
7.3 Responsibility for Customs and Duties
All international buyers are responsible for ensuring they understand and accept the import duties and taxes applicable in their country prior to purchase. AusParts International is not responsible for refunding or compensating any customs-related expenses.
8. Refunds
8.1 Refund Eligibility
Refunds will only be issued once all required items are returned in full, original condition. Refunds will not be processed until the returned goods have been received and inspected by AusParts International.
Shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases where AusParts International is responsible for sending the wrong item or faulty goods.
8.2 Timing of Refunds
Refunds will typically be processed within 7–14 business days after the return is received and inspected. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment used at checkout.
9. Changes to the Return and Refund Policy
AusParts International reserves the right to update or modify this Refund and Return Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly. It is the customer's responsibility to review this policy periodically.
